STEREOPHONICS
Originally from Cwmamon The Stereophonics were formed in 1992. They secured a deal with Richard Branson's V2 label and released their debut album 'Word Gets Around' in 1997. This quickly helped to establish them as one of the UK's premiere rock bands. Original drummer Stuart Cable left in 2003 and died tragically in 2010. The band has released 7 studio albums with the most recent being 'Keep Calm & Carry On' in 2007. In 2012 the band were selected to represent Wales at a special Olympic opening ceremony concert in London's Hyde Park.
