A harpist for all occasions, John studied harp in Wales and at the Conservatoire of Paris and plays a wide variety of music; light classical, folk, popular ballads, and Welsh melodies.

He is much in demand for wedding ceremonies and receptions and also plays at medieval banquets at Caldicot and Caerphilly Castles.
