If you haven't yet visited The Meating Place on St Mary Street in Cardiff, then you're truly missing out on something quite special. The clue is in the name, and that's probably one of the reasons why The Meating Place has become so well known for its theatrical trademark dish, the famous mouth-watering Hanging Meat Skewers.

They don't just serve meat here though. There's also a good selection of fish and vegetarian dishes. Their desserts are to die for and their wine list is impressive. There's a lot to be said for a good atmosphere and The Meating Place has this in spades.
