PEMBROKESHIRE
Walking festival in
coastal National Park
A new walking festival is to be launched in May 2011 to attract visitors to the UK's only coastal national park as part of an initiative by the five-star Bluestone National Park Resort in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
The Bluestone Walking Festival will take place between Sunday, 2 May and Thursday 27 May, in association with the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, allowing guests to take in the stunning scenery and beauty of the Pembrokeshire coast and countryside while enjoying the luxury of the Bluestone Resort itself.
The inaugural festival will involve midweek and weekend walks compiled by the National Park Authority and conducted by trained, qualified and knowledgeable leaders.
Walkers will be able to end their walking day being pampered at The Well holistic spa at Bluestone, and can enjoy a meal at the Carreg Las restaurant before dreaming about their day in one of the luxurious lodges set in spectacular countryside. The Bluestone Walking Festival costs from £98 per person (based on four people sharing a Caldey Lodge on a weekend break) and will include transport to the start and end of each walking route.
